RULES:

TO JOIN:

- You DO NOT need to be a member to adopt from this club. We DO WANT you to watch us to adopt.(So that staff can keep track.). I repeat, you do not have to join the club in order to adopt, but YOU DO have to watch us if you adopt. YOU DO NOT have to join.

- You DO have to join if you would like to submit designs to the club, or if you would like to become a staff member.

- To join, you must watch the club and send us a note with a subject heading: Join. You don't have to write anything specific in the note, just explain why you wish to join the club in maybe a sentence or two. You MUST submit a joining note to become a member. Just watching the club is not enough.

TO SUBMIT DESIGNS:

- Simply send a note to the club with a subject that clearly indicates that you are submitting designs. Call it "Design Submissions", "New wolf design set", anything like that which indicates that designs/adoptables are involved.

- In the note, please include not only a link to the designs (either posted in your DA or hosted on a free host website) but also include any information you would like to have included in the description when they are posted in the club. Also, please specify if you want them to be auditioned or first-come-first-serve. Also any personal rules you would like to have applied to your designs.

- THIS CLUB WILL ALLOW NATUAL/SPARKLE DOGS/ECT. .Meaning, we do allow adoptables of rainbow wolves or horses with neon colors and things. You know, what most people call "sparkledogs/horses/cats/etc". We do allow these here.  Ex1. A black wolf with neon rainbow stars all over and a giant mohawk.

- We also require that all designs have at least three colors involved in the main colors/markings on the body. Generally, anything that has two colors or less is not much of a design (though we make exceptions if the markings are incredibly complicated). So we do ask that, when designing adoptables, you try to include three or even four colors in the markings. Be aware that this does not include: eyes, pawpads, horns, claws, or anything else.  So if your adoptable's fur has only one color, but their eyes are two colors, YOU ARE STILL BREAKING THIS RULE. All animal adoptables should have three colors in their fur/scales/feathers.

- All designs must also come with all parts intact, colored and included. No more designs with eyes or noses uncolored. All designs must have a predetermined eye color, nose color, color for pawpads and so on. Adoptees are free to make changes to these in the process of adoption, but designers must always include a suggested color for these parts. This keeps the designs from looking sloppy or incomplete.

- All designs must also come with crisp, clear, identifiable, individualized markings. Please do not heavily smudge, blur, or blend the markings of designed characters. This makes them very confusing to potential adoptees. Also, do not copy and paste markings between adoptables. If designing a set of striped or spotted animals (such as tigers, leopards or cheetahs), the stripes/spots of every individual design in the set should differ from the others. In reality, no two animals have the same spots or stripes.

- We will be accepting design sets in which more than two characters feature unrealistic eye colors. Ex1. Blue/purple-eyed design and green-eyed design allowed.

- Please do not use character creators to make designs.

- All animals are allowed to be submitted for adoption here. This includes: present day animals (wolves, tigers, dogs, etc), extinct animals (saber toothed tigers, dinosaurs, thylacines, dire wolves, etc), fantasy animals (dragons, werewolves, unicorns, hellhounds, etc) and more Pokemon/Digamon/ect. Are allowed here. You may submit adoptables of a custom species of your own design at this time. However, you MAY NOT submit designs involving another deviant's custom made species without first getting that deviant's written permission.

-In short:
DO take time and care on your designs
DO note the club your designs and wait for us to submit them

Do NOT create sloppy designs…..

TO ADOPT:

- I repeat: you DO NOT have to be a member in order to adopt from this club, but you need to watch us.

- All you have to do is draw a picture of the design that you want and submit it in a comment to the club. We strongly prefer if you do not use templates. As well, tracing images is not allowed. The design needs to be DRAWN from scratch.. Referencing is fine, however, and encouraged.

- If you are including a bio, do not post it in the deviation's comments. Doing so clutters the page. Instead, either write out the bio in the audition image or include it in the artist comments if you intend to post the audition on your deviantart page.

- IT WILL NOT BE FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE unless the designer of the adoptables wishes it to be so. For the majority of designs here, you will have three days to a week to do a decently nice image of the design you desire. The deadline will vary from set to set. However, on the due date, the staff will review all of the submitted images and decide who gets each design based on: intended use of the design (if you do not tell us what you plan to use the design for, we will be less likely to give it to you), effort put into the image based on other artwork in the adopter's gallery, accuracy of the depicted design and the animal is intended to be (meaning, if the adopted animal is supposed to be say... a wolf, it should look like a wolf, not like a husky or a german shepherd or a fox. Use of photographic reference is recommended.), and the detail put into the character as a whole.

- The intent of this club is NOT necessarily to hand out every adoptable character from every single adoptable set. Some designs or particular species just aren't in as high a demand as others, so do not throw a fit if only one or two designs from your set get adopted out. As stated, this club emphasis quality over quantity and is by no means some sort of crude popularity contest. You should submit designs with care in mind, not just so that you can be part of a popular fad.

- You may audition for more than one design in a set.

-You MAY ask to hold adoptables, but adoptables will only be held for 5 days.

- When attempting to adopt a design (whether you are a guest, member, staff or otherwise), you should also submit the following character information. It is not required, but is helpful. We like to see our designs become interesting, unique characters, so we do like to read about your thoughts on the character that that design will become. You may leave out certain parts or change anything later on down the road should you change your mind about certain aspects of your character. The following form is just to get your thoughts and ideas going.

-You CAN draw an headshot or an body picture of the adoptable you want.

-In short:
DO read the rules and the adoptable's description
DO draw a full-body or headshot, color image
DO use image reference if you're having trouble with a species
DO fill out the biography we provide
DO understand the staff has the final say and keep a good attitude
DO ask if you want to hold an adopable for 5 days.

Do NOT post the bio for what character you want in the club's comments
Do NOT ask questions that you can easily find the answers to
Do NOT make shoddy or rushed images
Do NOT take a poor attitude if declined a design
Do NOT trace images or use templates in your application

-----------------------------------------

This is the biography form. If you fill this out and comment with it on one of our adoptable batches, there will be negative consequences. Do not post this form in the adoptable comments. Post it in the description of YOUR application.

Name: (your character's name, as well as any nicknames or special meanings their name may have)
Age: (age, in the years of their chosen species. Meaning, if you are adopting a wolf, you can use human years)
Gender: (male, female, other, none, etc)

Species: (horse, dog, wolf, dragon, etc. Whatever your critter's species is)

Height: (this does not have to be specific. You can just say 'tall', 'short' or 'average'. Just to get an idea of what your character is like when compared in size to others, though those of you who do list specific heights get brownie points.)
Weight: (same applies here, you can just say 'fat', 'skinny', 'heavy but muscular', 'average', etc) If you dont know, google.

Personality: (describe your character's personality. What they like, what they don't like, how they treat others, how they treat/think of themselves, as well as any weaknesses or strengths they may have. Are they brave? Are they stubborn/headstrong? Are they cowardly? Friendly? Shy? Outgoing? Neurotic? Crazy? etc)

Backstory: (anything you may wish to include regarding where your character came from, what he/she wants to do with their life, who their family members and friends are, and anything else about their story, past or present, that seems fitting to include here)

Plans For Use: (how do you intend to use this character? As an RP character, in a comic, etc)

-----------------------------------------

Remember that this form is NOT required. But, considering the fact that adopting from this club is a lot like trying to win a contest, filling it out is nothing but helpful for you. A well written description of a character's motives, desires, personality and history will almost certainly guarantee you the design you are auditioning for, even if your artwork is not to be desired. Now, this does vary from situation to situation, and all in all the quality of artwork takes presidence over the quality of the bio. So do not think that you can draw a stick figure but then submit a novel with it and expect to win. You won't. We can see through cheap tricks like that. Similarly, it is alright if you are too busy to really spend a lot of time on character design. Simply jot down as many ideas that you can think of and make notations wherever modifications may be made. We just want to see that you are adopting the design for a character with a spcific purpose. We do not require that you plan out every last trait and draw a perfect image all in a few days.
